We are thrilled to share that the Women in Life Sciences Symposium 2025 was a great success! Hosted at the CRTD in Dresden by Prof. Mareike Albert and Prof. Franziska Knopf, the event brought together an inspiring community of female scientists for an afternoon of insightful discussions and networking.

Moderated by Arantxa Sánchez, Catherina Becker participated in an amazing panel discussion with Prof. Julia Gross (HMU Potsdam), Dr. Josephine Bageritz (Heidelberg University), and Prof. Julia von Maltzahn (BTU Cottbus Senftenberg), sharing invaluable insights on career progression in life sciences.

Five leading scientists Kerstin Bartscherer (University Osnabrück), Darja Andreev (CRTD, TU Dresden), Anne Grapin-Botton (MPI-CBG, Dresden), Linnea Hesse (University of Hamburg), Krystelle Nganou (FAU, Erlangen).

The symposium fostered a vibrant atmosphere for discussion and collaboration, leaving attendees motivated and energized.

Thank you to all who participated—your enthusiasm made this event truly special!
